Safety on social media networking

Hallo everyone, It has been a long time, I know I have been scarce lately but I was still working on my blogging skills and I know you could not wait for this one. I hope you will enjoy my second blog. Social networking websites like Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn are services that people can use to connect with others to share information. It is very important to use these sites wisely as much as your safety is the top priority.as the popularity of these sites grows , so o the risks of using them.

Well you need not to worry because I am here to give you important tips on what to say and not on you social media profiles.

1.    Choose the right platform

There are hundreds of platforms, which means there are many options beyond your usual ones. Take time to see which platforms are best for you. I recommend that you choose LinkedIn because it is very different from Facebook and twitter. It is a professional network where you present yourself and your company.it is therefore great for growing a professional community and seeking out new employment. Having a LinkedIn profile increases your chances of being found by other users. Your profile headline should say something about what you have to offer to employees.

2.    Beware of what you post

Journalism is still valuable despite of all the growth in social media

It takes commitment and courage to do what is necessary as a journalist without being outstanded by the trending social media.

Some think that the ever growing social media and fast growing technology is replacing journalism, well it does not. Journalists have a future in every way.

standard questions that journalist ask

Journalist are made to be loud in whatever the situation may be. It would not be nice if they become less noisy as it will mean they are not giving their work their all. Our communities will be left behind and their needs would still not be met. Journalists are there to build the communities in which they exist in. journalism is not endangered by all the social media that we come across with every day. I wonder if you would agree with me when I say journalism is not all about technology, but about gathering news fact and delivering news to the intended audience through the basis of technology.

The rise of social media cannot by any means replace the art of journalism as they serve different roles. Journalists use social media as their search tool, they gather interesting stories, pursue news sources and staying in touch, friend or follow influential community people. Their task is to report news to their audiences and clarify some rumours with readers, listeners and viewers. They ask interesting questions about things that are happening around clearly. That is purely journalism and social media has nothing to do with all those mentioned above things. I fail to understand as to how we can be tempted by social media to such an extent that we no longer need journalists.

Social media is where people interact and share ideas amongst themselves, exchange information and ideas. We still need journalists in these times of advanced technology such as social media in order to use it as a platform to help journalists with technical skills, just to make life easier for them. Social medial will forever be growing since there is a huge growth in technology, so people please stop being threatened and festinated by this, because journalists are people we need right now to know the news. Even the technological devices has made internet to be available everywhere people are. Journalism is still meaningful regardless of the rise in social media. I personally see social media as an instrument of communication through social networks like twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

Journalists are reliable citizens and they abide by morals and ethics of journalism .Social media is just a way of making new friendships and letting yourself be known in a way. Some people use social media to fulfill their social needs, whereas journalists are professionals in their field.
